South London's SKN drops the euphoric ‘RUMBA’ with a colourful animated video accompaniment.

Let's all just ignore the rain taking over the UK right now. This banger has dropped, just in time for Carnival weekend.

RUMBA was written and recorded in Lagos, Nigeria, because according to SKN, “It was important I went back home to get my soul back”. The influence from Nigeria is evident in the way the song seamlessly combines African sounds and contemporary musical innovation to create a sonic bop that gives a ‘feel good’ vibe.

SKN is inspired by High life musicians like Cardinal Rex Lawson, Magic System and Pat Thomas & The Kwashibu Area Band. The colourful accompanying video serves to further re-introduce an artist who must not be ignored. We hope there is a lot more music from SKN on the way in 2020.
