'BLOOD IN MY EYES' - FREDO
Money Can’t Buy Happiness is symbolic of Fredo’s development as an artist, a mature, well-
rounded and thought provoked project. Yet, the sampling and deeply emotive lyricism
brings back a side of the 2017 Fredo in songs such as The Avenues.
Blood in My Eyes is a symbolic track of the album, a lyrically potent song over a mellow
sample sees Fredo reflect on the core issues of the album and his life, ‘It took money for me
to finally see That the best things in life are for free’. Be sure to check out this one plus
Fredo’s new album.
'GANG SIGNS' - FREDDIE GIBBS FT. SCHOOLBOY Q Following his huge success with Grammy-nominated Alfredo, Freddie Gibbs links up with TDE's -Schoolboy Q in a drug dealers' dream rap collab. The laidback, breezy-feeling cut is filled with smooth keys and polished horns and is topped with punchy verses from two of Rap's heavy-hitters - nonchalant, assured and sophisticated, it's a song fitting for two underrated GOATs.
'FELL IN LOVE IN BRASIL' - JEVON
On the title track of his debut album, Jevon takes us through his humble beginnings growing
up on Mozart Estate, West London. However, despite those early troubles, he discusses how
this place will always be home to him. His strong delivery over the slick and laid-back
production, courtesy of Jevon himself, makes for a song that is nothing short of glorious.
'NO MERCY' - GHETTS FT. PA SALIEU, BACKROAD GEE Ghetts has linked up with the new wave duo taking the world by storm. 'Dododoooooo'.. listen, you'll understand.
'FLY EM HIGH' - TIGGS DA AUTHOR FT. NINES
Another Tiggs & Nines linkup, as usual this does not disappoint.
