Hailing from North London, AntsLive is a unique talent. Bringing an authentic style to the scene, the young rapper possesses a distinctive tone, moulding a fresh sound.
Despite only a handful of releases, the rapper has almost certainly left a mark. ‘Brown Liquor’ was well received, appearing on DJ Semtex’s tracks of the week “you definitely need to know about it”.
Brown Liquor is a polished track. AntsLive employs a slick flow over a guitar based sample from JayBlu. The North London rapper is efficient with his delivery, he combines this with efficient rhyming schemes, showcasing his wordplay
On Tokyo Freestyle, the young rapper builds on his recognition ‘I don't care if u dunno the name by now, Brown liquor going insane right now’. AntsLive puts his own take on the Chris Rich instrumental from the Ghanaian drill track Akatafoc by Kawabanga. While still utilising a smooth vocal tone, AntsLive switches up his delivery, demonstrating his adaptability.
AntsLive is a confident act, an effortless rapper who brings a polished and unique style to the game. Off the back of two releases his ability is evident. With more music on the horizon he is certainly one to watch.
