OFB unveil powerful Coldplay-sampled 'BLM'

OFB PAINT A POIGNANT PICTURE OF POLICE BRUTALITY

In a week packed with a multitude of tracks from the UK's finest (see: Ghetts x Skepta, M1llionz x Dutchavelli, Headie One, Loski x Blanco, and of course those two tracks from Chip) OFB paint a poignant picture of police brutality and discrimination in new Abra Cadabra-assited 'BLM.'

Sampling Coldplay's iconic 'Trouble,' (the second act ever to have approval to sample a Coldplay song), BandoKay and Double Lz trade sombre verses paying tribute not only to BandoKay's father Mark Duggan, who was killed by police in 2011, but to every black life that has been taken away at the hands of police. Raw, stark and moving, this one hits home following a summer of protest, outrage and unrest. As the seasons change and we begin to take refuge in the safety of our homes, this is a powerful reminder that the grief is ever-present; this is an important conversation to keep at the very forefront of our collective conscience.

Coldplay have confirmed that their share of sample proceeds will be going to youth charities Broadwater Farm Community Centre & Juvenis Youth.

BIG LOVE.
