Recently Little Simz has put out a radio show online and independently, called 101FM and it’s great. Little Simz came onto the mic at the start of the first episode and made it known that 101FM was about – non-stop heat, good vibes, and music she fucks with.
The first episode was indeed wall-to-wall heaters, featuring bangers from artist like herself, Eliza and UnoTheActivist.
The highlight of episode 2 was Little Simz spitting a poignant and absorbing freestyle over the classic instrumental Shook Ones. The episode itself took a more mellow tone, though maintaining the heat.
Lashawna Rose is a gem, and will be hosting 30 minutes of 101FM episode 3. I’m certainly not the only one excited to see what she plays.
The music from the first two episodes of 101FM has been interesting and diverse. Safe to say if British summer lives up to its reputation, at least Little Simz will maintain the heat.
The third episode of 101FM is out Friday 3rd of July.
