Back in November, when Kenny Beats posted pictures up on Instagram with the likes of Skepta, Headie One and AJ Tracey in the studio, it felt like Kenny was working on something big.

This is an established producer within the Hip-Hop scene, working with artists such as Vince Staples, Denzel Curry, Rico Nasty, Freddie Gibbs and more. There is no doubt that he has become a household name within the culture, and he has only gone on to reach more heights with the success of his YouTube series, ‘The Cave’.
The fact that he is now coming over to London to work with artists situated here, has given me a new-found level of respect for the Connecticut-born producer. It not only displays how in tune he is of the happenings of the UK scene right now, but it also shows that he is a producer who isn’t afraid to break boundaries.
Shortly after his trip to London, Kenny went on Instagram Live to tease snippets of songs with Headie One and SL, both of which have been sounding absolutely crazy. On that same Live, he simply said, ‘I have a lot coming that I’m very excited about and a lot of it’s not American’. So, one can only hope that the ‘Woah Kenny!’ tag on a track by a UK rapper sees the light of day very soon.
